What can we say about 2020…that hasn’t already been said? It was a season cut short for sure that left many of us wanting more Ski Biking. Looking at the positives, SkiByk has been in communication with many Ski Area Managers and the general consensus is “we are opening and we are confident that we will have a great season working with the new norms” What this means at the individual resorts will be interesting as the season unfolds. At SkiByk, we are staying positive about the upcoming season and went forward with our orders of the SB100 and SB200. Since we had another sell out season last year…we increased the order for both products this season. To all of you who took advantage of the reservation program and locked in last year sales price…congratulations!
As many of you are aware we invested a lot of time and effort in the prototyping and on slope testing stage of our products 4 seasons ago. We did this with all types of riders and conditions before we went into full production. This investment was necessary to insure we could supply a great Ski Bike at an affordable cost that could handle the ride season after season. We are constantly soliciting feedback from our customers and our rental partners regarding our current designs and asking about any recommended improvements we could make. We are extremely proud of the fact that the overwhelming responses last season ranged from “not really’ to “why” to “we beat the crap out of your bikes and do not have problems” ok there was the one guy who wanted a fatter seat…but we sent him a link to get one…you know who you are. Based on all the feedback (or lack of) we received about any changes to the products…We made the decision to not make changes to our 2 current models. This decision will allow us to continue to provide great Ski Bikes at an affordable price point and not increase prices from last year’s retail price point. This is a win for all of our customers and the sport in general.
SkiByk has always been about Enjoying the Ride…and we will continue to Enjoy the Ride! We will continue to focus our efforts on our SkiBike riders, Ski Areas and the American SkiBike Association to help advance the SkiBike sport. We will continue to be great ambassadors for the sport and ask our customers and support groups to do the same. As we look to the ’20-’21 season you may have noticed, we are adding “No Limits” to our social media posts, Ski Bike videos and website. What does this mean “No Limits”? For us at SkiByk, it means a lot of things:
No Limits on where you ride…Access for all including adapter ski bikers
No Limits on what you ride!
No Limits on who you ride with!
No Limits on the terrain you ride…steeps, trees, bumps, cruisers, pow…whatever!
No limits in general…just get out and Enjoy the Ride!
From all of us at SkiByk, we wish all of you the best this season can bring. We hope you get to ride with No Limits and have access to your slopes and your enjoyment of the sport of SkiBiking. But most importantly we hope whatever your ride…you get to Enjoy the Ride!
